A dreamlike, metaphysical performance, COMEDIAN! is structured as a sensory ecosystem driven by the abstract sounds of the voice and physical gestures. 
The work inhabits an unconventional space using a universal, immediate language—the product of a continuous flow of improvisation and experimentation that generates a brand of comedy that is original, surreal, and disorienting.

On stage, the actions of Alessia Luongo and Manuel Pernazza merge into a single impulse. The innovative, custom-built instruments designed and played by Luongo are integral to the performance itself—a resonance that transforms into body and movement. Moving through this vibrational fabric is Pernazza’s contemporary Pulcinella, a free spirit embodying humanity.
