Pugni di pezza
Puppet theater performance witch original music by Alessia Luongo

On stage, the memory of ancient tales, passed down from hand to hand, comes to life. The glove puppets come to life, bringing to the audience the power of folk tales: small and large feats accomplished by rag-tag heroes, capable of speaking to children and adults alike. The protagonist, Colanfronio, is a small, ill-fated hero who faces a world of improvised courage and instinctive comedy. His adventures reveal simple and profound truths: the struggle is ridiculous but necessary, defeat can be poetic, and victory is never final. The show recounts not only the adventures of the puppets, but also the gesture of the puppeteer herself: the ancient mystery of the hand that transforms cloth into destiny. Pugni di Pezza it's a fist that opens into a caress, a serious play-theater where the hero is made of rags but his dreams are authentic.
